For Author

Synsint Research Group‘s policy regarding the use of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in writing for our journals aims to uphold transparency, integrity, and accountability in scholarly publishing.

Authors utilizing AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process must ensure that these tools are employed solely to enhance readability and language, without replacing critical authoring tasks such as generating scientific insights, concluding, or providing recommendations. Human oversight and control are essential throughout the writing process to mitigate the risks of errors, incompleteness, or bias inherent in AI-generated content.

It is the responsibility of authors to disclose the use of AI and AI-assisted technologies in their manuscript, fostering transparency and trust among all stakeholders involved in the publication process. This disclosure serves to acknowledge the role of AI while affirming the authors’ accountability for the contents of their work.

Authors should refrain from attributing authorship to AI or AI-assisted technologies, as authorship entails responsibilities and tasks uniquely attributable to humans. Each author is accountable for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and originality of the work, in alignment with the publishing ethics policy of Synsint Research Group.

In adherence to our policy, the use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools to create or alter images in submitted manuscripts for our journals is not permitted, except when integral to the research design or methods. In such cases, authors must provide a reproducible description of the AI’s involvement in the image creation process, along with relevant details regarding the AI model or tool used.

Furthermore, the use of generative AI or AI-assisted tools in the production of artwork, including covers or graphical abstracts, is strictly prohibited for submissions to our journals.

As part of our commitment to maintaining the highest standards of scholarly publishing, Synsint Research Group will continually monitor developments in AI technologies and refine our policy as necessary to ensure ethical and transparent practices in the dissemination of research through our journals.
